3D Printed Bushcraft knife
This has been in the works for quite some time, but I finally got the chance to post this. I did most of the concept work in illustrator, and then translated it to solidworks.  Once I got the design honed in, I adjusted it to fit a Mora No. 2000 Knife blank (just the knife, no handle).  It took several 3d prints to get it right, but eventually the knife slotted in nicely and once the glue was set it was rock-solid.
The butt of the knife exhibits my Outdoor logo.  Don't actually have a name yet for this brand, but I am pretty happy with the logo design.
These are some earlier concepts and versions of knife handles that I was toying with building out.
I have now made 4 of these knives.  the final one shown above in the photos, is made of ABS after discovering that leaving PLA based items in a car in the Texas heat turns them into noodles.  Not very reassuring!  The knife is super sharp and easy to sharpen, there's a built in detent on the inside of the sheath that the knife snaps into to prevent it from sliding out.  Finally, there's about 15-20ft of paracord just below an existing belt clip I found on amazon.  I also now have a version of this that is modified to fit a molle-style clip to keep it affixed to a backpack or other surfaces that use that system.
